Remote Expert | Headset demonstration at Motus Truck and Van

Our Group Technical Specialist, Liam Walker, is currently touring our sites to showcase the new Remote Expert Headset to our Van Technicians. Supplied by Autotech Connect, this cutting-edge device offers instant, real-time support by allowing our Technicians to connect directly with Liam or the Mercedes-Benz Vans Technical UK team.

Equipped with an integrated camera that allows the expert to see and a clear, vibrant display that functions like a 10-inch screen for the Technician, the headset enables them to share exactly what they are seeing during an online call, making technical support more accessible and efficient.

In our demonstration video below, we highlight some of the headset's standout features. One of the most impressive is its thermal camera, which allows for faster and more accurate diagnostics. Additionally, the headset includes a borescope attachment, which enables a small camera to be inserted into the engine—allowing Technicians to diagnose issues or locate part numbers more easily.
