Driven to the Extreme: SAGA Truck & Van Represents the UK at Dakar Rally

SAGA Truck & Van is proud to announce its involvement in one of the most demanding motorsport events in the world - the Dakar Rally - as Zac Moore from the SAGA Truck & Van Ipswich dealership prepares to compete as a support driver with the official Overdrive Toyota Europe team.
Zac, a driver for SAGA Truck & Van in the UK, was personally invited to take part in the iconic rally by Ronan Chabot, President of RCM SAGA in France. In addition to leading RCM SAGA, Ronan Chabot oversees RCM’s Toyota dealership network in France, a long-standing partner of Toyota’s global motorsport programmes. Through this close relationship, and with more than 20 years of direct involvement in Dakar racing, Ronan has played an active role in rally-raid competition at the highest level, forging strong links with the Dakar Rally and elite teams such as Overdrive Toyota Europe.
This exceptional invitation will see Zac trade British roads for vast deserts in Saudi Arabia with extreme terrain and relentless conditions; widely regarded as the ultimate test of endurance, skill and mental resilience in motorsport.
Being selected by one of the most respected teams in international rally-raid competition, is a major achievement. It recognises not only Zac’s driving capability, but also his professionalism, determination and commitment - qualities that reflect the standards and values upheld across the RCM group across Europe.
