Mercedes-Benz eActros 600: Our first drive experience
In July, our Truck Sales Team visited the Mercedes-Benz factory in Wörth for the eActros600 training event. After the trip, we spoke with some of our team to hear about their experience.

The eActros 600 stands out, not only within the Mercedes-Benz Truck range but among all trucks on the road. Its new style is not only aesthetically pleasing but also enhances its practicality.
Driving the eActros 600 reveals a significant difference from the Diesel Actros. Ben Sheldrake, Truck Sales Consultant, said, "the driving experience is a world away from the diesel Actros; it is smoother, much quieter, and the gear changes are great." The truck provides an elevated driving experience due to its advanced features and technologies. For instance, the 5-stage recuperation system eliminates brake wear, increases driver comfort, and even allows for battery charging while driving.
The eActros 600 was fully freighted at 40-tonne in various environments, from motorways to narrow areas with tight driving spaces. As Mark Hurren, Truck Sales Consultant, mentioned "it’s amazing how far and freely the truck rolls."
We expect a demonstrator to arrive at Motus Truck & Van in early 2025.
