Charging Options with Recuperation Modes
The eVito Tourer can be charged via Direct Current (DC) or Alternating Current (AC). The DC option offers a speedy charge with 10-80% in 40 minutes², while the AC option is more cost effective for overnight charging with 0-100% in 10 hours².
Optimise Battery Performance - The eVito can recover energy when it is decelerating, optimising the vehicle’s range. This is called recuperation and you can select five different modes via the gearshift paddles.
D-- This mode is designed to get maximum range from your eVito Tourer. With the fastest deceleration, it recovers the most energy. As the deceleration is so strong, your brake lights will be automatically activated. D- When you ease off the accelerator in D-, your vehicle will slow down less quickly and recover a little less energy than D--. Generally, this mode will activate your brake lights. D This mode is good for faster paced traffic traveling at a relatively constant speed and the vehicle returns to D every time you start the motor. It has a gradual deceleration feel – like putting a diesel vehicle into a lower gear. Some energy is recovered, but not as much as D-. Brake lights are generally not automatically activated in this mode. D+ This is a sailing mode, meaning your vehicle will decelerate naturally – like coasting to a stop in a diesel vehicle. No energy is recovered into the battery. It is useful on long downhill sections of main roads, as you will be able to ‘sail’ with no drag from the electric motor. D Auto With a long pull of either paddle shifter, the intelligent mode D Auto is activated. It uses a radar sensor and navigation data to automatically adjust the recuperation level to the traffic situation – so you don’t have to. -

Safety & Driver Assistance Systems
- Active Brake Assist - Can help you avoid accidents with other road users in various situations, or mitigate the consequences of an accident.
- Blind Spot Assist - If Blind Spot Assist detects a vehicle in the blind spot, it displays a warning with a red triangle in the corresponding outside mirror.
- Active Lane Keeping Assist - Monitors the area in front of your vehicle and can protect you from unintentionally leaving your lane.
- Reversing Camera - Assists you when parking and manoeuvring: it displays the area immediately behind the vehicle which you are unable to see directly.
- Intelligent Speed Assistant - The assistant can read the maximum permitted speed from road signs via camera and navigation data and transfer it to the instrument cluster.
