What is the General Safety Regulation 2 (GSR2)?
The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter PRO features multiple GSR2-compliant Driver Assistance systems:
- Attention Assist warns of driver fatigue and microsleep via the instrument cluster.
- Intelligent Speed Assist alerts you with visual and audible signals if you exceed the speed limit.
- Blind Spot Assist notifies the driver of any detected objects with a red warning light in the exterior mirror.
- Moving Off Information System helps in traffic by detecting potential collision risks when starting off, with visual and audible warnings.
- Sideguard Assist (BSIS) detects objects in the co-driver’s side blind spot.
